Project Description

Democracy International developed a decision-making guide for USAID’s Center for Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance to provide field officers with guidance on whether and how to support activities to assess and verifying election results. The manual, which covers parallel vote tabulations, exit polling, and election forensics, will improve the quality of electoral observation efforts by helping USAID decision-makers and the broader policy community better understand the benefits and risks of implementing particular methods of election results assessment and verification.
