Project Description

DI implemented a Human Rights, and Governance (DRG) Assessment in Haiti. The DI assessment team was on the ground in Port-au-Prince and select regions outside the capital conducting targeted focus groups and key informant interviews and exploring the social, economic, and political factors hindering Haiti’s democratic progress. The findings of this assessment were finalized and presented to USAID in the following months, and influenced DRG program design in Haiti and informed the next iteration of USAID/Haiti’s Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS).
