Project Description

Between 2011 and 2013, Democracy International conducted public opinion research in several countries in the Middle East, including nationwide representative surveys in Tunisia and targeted focus groups in Egypt, Morocco, Libya, and Tunisia. This research provided a means to gauge attitudes about democracy and served as the basis for subsequent U.S. Government Democracy, Rights, and Governance programming in the region.
